About Paul
I’m Paul, a qualified primary teacher with experience across all primary year groups. Through my work in schools, I see every day how capable children can quietly fall behind - not because they lack ability, but because small gaps in learning go unnoticed.
In busy classrooms, time is limited,. Children who seem “fine” can easily slip into the background, missing the tailored support they need. Over time, those gaps grow, confidence dips, and learning can start to feel stressful rather than enjoyable.
My tutoring focuses on calm, supportive online sessions where children feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and rebuilding confidence. By identifying and closing gaps early in English and maths, I help children to feel secure in their learning and ready for the transition to secondary school.
